Ballybane and Monivea Housing Schemes

Varming Consulting Engineers were recently appointed as part of an overall design team, with O’Briain Beary Architects leading the team, as Building Services Engineers associated with the Design and Site Monitoring including Building Regulation Certification (BCAR) of Social Housing Schemes at Ballybane and on the Monivea Road in Galway City for Galway City Council.

The project consists of the design and construction of 2 no. social housing schemes on individual sites. The larger site is proposed to have approx. 50 no. dwelling units in the townland of Ballybane while a smaller site is proposed to have 7 no. dwelling units on the Monivea Road. Dwellings will be arranged in a combination of two and three storey structures with a mixture of houses, apartments and duplex units and associated site infrastructure / utilities.

The projects are due to commence on Site in April 2019 and complement our extensive successful experience in the Residential Sector and with Galway City Council.
