Varming Consulting Engineers were commissioned as mechanical and electrical technical advisers for this new Modular Ward Block at St. Luke’s General Hospital Kilkenny. The new block is four storeys plus roof top plant rooms. Accommodation is arranged around a new courtyard. At ground floor accommodation includes offices and staff facilities. At upper levels there are three floors each with 24 single bedrooms all with private en-suites. A modular construction method has been adopted allow for rapid construction in response to Covid-19 Health Crisis.
