Roscommon Palliative Care Unit

Roscommon Palliative Care unit was recently opened by the Minister of Health, Stephen Donnelly.  Varming Consulting Engineers were delighted to assist Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation with the design, construction and handover of the building in our role as Building Services Engineers.

The project consists of the design and construction of a new palliative care building of 8 No. single ensuite, patient bedrooms with associated support facilities, Therapy Areas, Day-care Facilities, Home Care, Kitchen / Restaurant, Reflection room, Mortuary and associated offices / administration facilities.

The Project commenced on site in March 2020 and was handed over fully complete in September 2021 and compliments our extensive successful experience in the  Healthcare sector. The project is follows on from our previous successful involvement in delivering a similar larger Hospice for our client in Castlebar, Co. Mayo.
