Varming awarded BRE BIM Level 2 Business Systems Certification

Varming Consulting Engineers has been named as the first specialist Building Services Consultancy in Ireland to be awarded BRE’s Building Information Modelling (BIM) Level 2 Business Systems Certification for all three of their Irish offices.

The industry certification is conducted by BRE Global, a world leading independent certification body, and its certification is one of the most highly regarded in the construction sector.

The scheme has been designed to enable certificated businesses to demonstrate compliance with PAS91-2013 and assesses a business, relating to their BIM policy and capability as defined within PAS 1192-2:2013 and PAS 91 as well as assessing the ability of the business to meet the requirements of an employer to carry out a BIM capability assessment.

The early recognition of the positive opportunities that BIM presents to our profession and our business were the key drivers which led Varming Consulting Engineers to adopt BIM some years ago.  The independent certification by BRE Global is an affirmation of our established commitment to growth and development through the adoption of modern processes and techniques in the administration of our business – James Kavanagh Chief Executive Officer.
