Varming Insight: Construction Tech Trends For 2023

However, according to the State of Construction Tech report, this is something that accelerated significantly once the global pandemic hit.

The report show that the biggest uptake in technology has come in the form of software that facilitate digital collaboration for tasks like building design, as well as safety-oriented wearable tech and virtual scanning tools.

A Wide Range of Potential Uptake in 2023

So, what’s in store for 2023 in construction tech? Well, the list of emerging technologies either used in construction or being designed specifically for it is an extensive one. It’s one that’s also growing fast and currently includes the following:

More advanced BIM systems & platforms like Digital Twins are set to become increasingly adopted over the next year, with open data being the next big debate that needs to happen.
