Varming Project wins the prestigious 2020 ACEI Design Excellence Award
Varming Consulting Engineers are delighted to announce that our practice has won the prestigious 2020 ACEI Design Excellence Award in the Mechanical and Electrical Category for our Three Park Place project.
Three Park Place is an 18,000 sq.m office development which was developed by Clancourt Management in the Dublin 2 Business District.
The adjudicators’ Award Citation for the winning project reads:
“This modern nine storey office building on Hatch Street is an excellent example of BIM-aided delivery of a sustainable environment to BER A3 and LEED Platinum ratings. Night cooling storage and CHP along with solar panels integrated with a ‘green roof’, enhanced ventilation and a thermally efficient façade all contribute to this achievement.”
The Varming commission, as M&E Consultants, included the design and construction monitoring of the m&e installations for the Shell & Core, Category A and Category B (12,000sq.m) Fit-Out Contracts. The principal tenants are Deloitte, IDA Ireland, CNP Santander, SEAI, SFI and The Marine Institute.
We are very pleased to win this ACEI President’s award for 2020. Over the past 30 years the following Varming projects were also selected as worthy winners of previous ACEI President’s Awards for M&E Design Excellence:
